Having already dived headlong into autumn, I must remind myself that the summer is not gone just yet. While fall is the best season there is (in this author’s humble opinion), it’s also far too short, and before we know it, we’ll be cursing the doldrums of winter, wishing to catch a glimpse of a single flower, or feel the rush of warm air. So while yes, I’m willing this season to turn into the next, here’s my reminder to myself—and anyone like me—to appreciate what we have while we have it. At least these flowers are season-less.
