On March 27, an Ohio federal court judge referred Sterling’s lawsuit against Zale to mediation, at the parties’ request.
The meditation must be completed by May 2.
Sterling declined comment. Zale spokeswoman Roxane Barry said, “I understand that it is standard process for the court to order mediation in these cases and we will comply with the court.”
Sterling has sued Zale over its claim that its Celebration Fire diamond was the “most brilliant diamond in the world.” Sterling calls that claim misleading.
