Stephen Watson has been appointed editor-in-chief of Watch Journal, as well as watch and jewelry editor for its publisher, Surface Media.
Prior to joining Surface Media, Watson served as a digital editor for Hearst Media, covering timepieces for TownandCountryMag.com, Esquire.com, MarieClaire.com, HarpersBazaar.com, and ELLE.com. He was recently nominated for a Gem Award in 2017 for Media Excellence by Jewelers of America.
Watch Journal is a timepiece magazine aimed at the private-jet community. Its readers have an average net worth of $89.3 million dollars.
