Starting Today, You Can Preview the Apple Watch

Starting today, curious industry members can head to Apple stores to kick the tires of the company’s new watch.

The much-talked-about smartwatch is being made available to preview starting today at Apple stores, as well as at Galeries Lafayette in Paris, Isetan in Tokyo, and Selfridges in London. Customers can also pre-order it online for delivery April 24.

As supply is likely to outstrip demand at first, the watch will be sold only online at first, said Angela Ahrendts, Apple’s senior vice president of retail and online stores, in a statement.

On the 24th, it will also be available for sale at Maxfield in Los Angeles—so far, the only non-Apple store in the United States carrying it—as well as Collette in Paris, the Corner in Berlin, and Dover Street Market in London and Tokyo.

The watch has received generally mixed reviews, with many reviewers advising readers to hold off until future updates.
