Stacked New York is known for its Argentium silver bangles—a style that is a staple in many jewelry wardrobes—but the firm is now adding stud earrings to its mix. Earrings in the new 7th Avenue Mix and Match Stud collection are sold separately for $85 apiece ($170 for a pair) and are set with seven different types of gemstones: black spinel, clear or rose quartz, red spinel, sky blue topaz, and green or purple amethyst. The choice of seven is deliberate, as it nods to “creativity and imagination,” according to creative director Tina Snyder, as is the ability to buy singles: Consumers can mix and match colors as they like. The aesthetic, meanwhile, is a hand-hammered effect borrowed from the line’s Varick Street and Carmine Street bangles and bands. The studs will be ready to ship to retailers by mid-January.
