Well, the weather is still weird. But we have now entered April, which can only mean good things, right? Sure, it will rain. But in a perfect scenario, those April showers will make way for—that’s right, you know what’s coming next—May flowers. And the temperatures can only get better (or so I like to tell myself).
But what we may or may not be able to find in the real world today, as snow falls on some of our heads, we can always get on Instagram. It takes nothing more than a swipe to travel to another place in the world, see mouthwatering foods, and get inspired by someone else’s covetable style.
There are times when these photos might not make us feel so good—is it really helpful to peek in on someone’s island getaway when your winter coat is firmly still in place?—but in the spirit of positive thinking, I like to see these springy photos as more hopeful than taunting. (Most importantly, they communicate spring through the language of jewelry, so how can you not be inspired?).
Since the only thing better than observing spring through the lens of another is conjuring it yourself, look to these examples for inspiration. Whether you see something to adopt in store (as a display or decor option, perhaps), or want to take photos like this yourself, it’s time to take the season! If spring won’t come willingly, well, we can all try our best to coax it just a bit.
Here are some Instagram posts from the last week that have helped to put a spring in my step.
I need to #repost this gorgeous photo from @rachelatherleyjewelry. These earrings are an absolute dream and the composition by @coleimage is perfection!
