When Pantone released its Spring 2017 color report last fall, there was a barely there pink included in the lineup, the aptly named Pale Dogwood. And if you’ve read our recent coverage of the institute’s Fall 2017 color report, you may have noted that Ballet Slipper, yet another soft, petal-pink shade, was among the predictions for autumn.

As the advent of spring draws near, blush-colored fashion and accessories are indeed creeping into the marketplace, forecasting a demand for the hue…

…so now would be a good time to assort your collections with an influx of pale pink sapphires, pink opal, morganite, conch pearls, peach moonstone, and even good old rose quartz. Especially now that it looks like spring’s “first blush” will extend well into fall. Layer in some Greenery while you’re at it!
