A Rhode Island private-equity partnership bought the assets of Speidel, according to a Rhode Island news report.
Gennaro and Lynnemarie Cerce, siblings and principals in Cerce Capital LLC, purchased the Cranston-based company for $1.65 million. A Superior Court judge approved the deal last week, according to the lawyer overseeing the company’s finances.
Speidel filed for receivership this past June.
