Sotheby’s raised 6.5 million pounds ($10.3 million) in a
three-day clear-out sale of the belongings of the owners of the British stately
home Chatsworth, according to a Reuters report.
One of the highlights was a rare Maori pendant that sold for
45,650 pounds.
