The company paid $4 million for the 8,500-piece collection
SimplexDiam has won the entire 8,500-piece jewelry collection in the liquidation of JSN, the manufacturing division of Canadian retailer Ben Moss Jewellers, which is going out of business.
“The inventory consists of very classic easy-to-sell items in lower price points, similar to the Martin Ross liquidation we purchased last year,” said Shail Y. Madhvani, executive vice president of SimplexDiam, in a statement.
The collection was purchased wholesale for $4 million.
The inventory will be sold at the JIS Miami show, which begins Oct. 14, and at the SimplexDiam New York offices.
