Signet Group said on Thursday fourth quarter same-store sales were up 1.8 percent, led by a strong performance in the U.S., Reuters reports.
Same-store sales rose 6.4 percent in the U.S., which generates about three-quarters of total sales for the London-based jewelry retailer, Reuters reports. Same-store sales were down 8.6 percent in the U.K.
The fourth quarter, which ended Jan. 28, typically contributes 40 percent of annual sales and about 70 percent of group profits, Reuters reports.
