Sights and Sparkle From This Weekend at JCK Las Vegas

The final day of JCK Las Vegas is upon us. Once again another year has come and gone so quickly—but not without leaving some major impressions. I still have one day left to discover new treasures, but I’m excited to share some of the memorable jewels I found throughout my travels on the show floor. Here are just a few of the highlights from this weekend at JCK Las Vegas.

The expanded House of Waris for Forevermark gold and diamond collection totally blew me away. It isn’t that these are mega pieces with million-dollar price tags or that they make a ridiculously large statement. What I loved about this completely wearable collection was the beauty of each piece, rendered in rich yellow gold with no shortage of glimmer.

I was treated to the full tour at Mastoloni Pearls, where I found creations like long, layerable necklaces and bracelets rich with diamonds and pearls. One of the highlights was this demonstration of how the Flex bracelets can move; they’re truly, well, flexible!

I loved spending time with the truly lovely folks at Michael Jensen Designs. So many earthy, rustic, almost medieval designs were a treat to the eyes, and I just couldn’t get enough of these earrings in particular. Distressed enamel decorates the long dagger-like drops, while on top, peridot (left) and garnet (right) complements the color scheme.

Always one of my favorites, Erik Stewart brought his Elizabeth collection in new and gorgeous variations. These palladium earrings glittered with 2.28 cts. t.w. diamonds, and that’s a pair of matching pendants you see in the background.

Consider this the most expensive item I’ll ever get my hands on (and then promptly give back!). Rahaminov Diamonds unveiled its exciting mystery jewels at its booth in LUXURY, including this stunner of a ring featuring a 40.23 ct. fancy yellow diamond. It comes with a cool $2 million price tag.

Makur, known for its gorgeous selection of jewels (most with morganite), brought along its new Mixed Metal collection in 14k and argentium silver. The monogram necklaces really caught my eye—how great are they?

And last but certainly and definitely not least, comes my brand-new obsession. I immediately fell in love with the creations from Évocateur, with its enamel and 22k gold leaf designs. You’ll find mostly bracelets, but there’s also a collection of colorful pendants and earrings. There’s such a great vibe going on, with influences from Egypt and Italy, animal prints, and even skeletons. You can’t help but want to collect them all—which would be great for your customers, right?

That’s all for now, but one more day of jewelry awaits! Stay tuned for more live updates from the show floor, and a rundown of favorite trends later this week!
