Shining Moments From the JCK Show Floor: LUXURY and AGTA 2013

The crowd came in for the opening day of the AGTA GemFair at Mandalay Bay, with row upon row of loose gemstones, finished jewelry, statement pieces, and showcase staples. One floor up, LUXURY remained buzzing on its last invite-only day before opening to the all the eager JCK Las Vegas showgoers. Not surprisingly, I had a ball flitting from booth to booth, and I’ve got the photo evidence to prove it. Take a look at some of my favorite highlights of the day.

sns

SNS Jewelry Studio was so welcoming while showing us some of their newest and very best creations. Be sure to pop in and say hi to some of the kindest folks on the floor at AGTA730.

Michael Schofield

If you’re gaga for Gatsby, you won’t be disappointed with Michael Schofield’s stunning Art Deco designs (AGTA1100).

Sutra

Back in LUXURY, the shades of blue at Sutra Jewels (LUX1317) caught my eye.

BPalumbo, Jeff Cooper

Jeff Cooper’s Barbara Palumbo killed it on camera (as expected) while filming our JCKTV spots. See the superstar—and Cooper’s amazing bridal designs—at LUX233.

Yael Designs

Unable to resist a revisit to Yael Designs, I found another stunner to add to my wish list (shocking, I know!). See this beauty and more at LUX400.

Temple St. Clair

I fell in love with Temple St. Clair’s Anima collection when it was featured in our Marketplace 110 guide—then I learned it was inspired by Gaudi’s architecture. Now, I’m borderline obsessed. See the colorful jewels at LUXEE8.

AGTA

Back downstairs in AGTA, the eye candy continued, with trays full of colored stones such as these. I’ll take one of each!
