Canadian
miner Shear Diamonds appointed Gregory Rieveley to its board of directors.  

Rieveley
is a finance executive with 12 years of experience in the mining, diamond
marketing, and retail industries. He is currently the chief financial officer of
Noront Resources. Previously, he served as vice president of internal audit and
business development at Harry Winston Diamond Corp.
