Shane Co. will award $1,000 to a randomly selected couple in a contest celebrating anniversaries.
“You just enter your current anniversary,” says Deirdre Kronschnabel, research assistant for Shane. “If you’re a boyfriend or girlfriend, it can be your dating anniversary, or they can also do a wedding anniversary.”
A winning anniversary date will be picked at random. Deadline for contest entries is Dec. 8, and the winner will be announced on Dec. 15. Entrants must be 18 or over and U.S. citizens.
The entry form gives contestants the option to receive further communications from the jewelry company. As far as the anniversaries, Kronschnabel says, “I don’t think we’ll use the information for anything other than the contest.
“It’s a pretty simple contest—easy to do, people are happy about it,” she adds. “We like to run contests. They are a fun and interactive way to engage with our audience. We are all about love and engagements, so this is a natural fit for us.”
