Ronny Seliktar, president of Select Jewelry, Inc. said Tuesday that the company has successfully reached a settlement with Marfo Group and Designs by FMC for infringing on Select’s trade dress with the Diamond Fascination product.

“Creativity is America’s most valuable natural resource and must be protected,” Seliktar said in a statement.

The Federal Court for the Eastern District of New York granted Select Jewelry an immediate injunction in December stopping the infringing activities of both Marfo Group and Designs by FMC, Seliktar said. A permanent settlement was reached with both companies in January. The details of the settlement were not disclosed.

Diamond Fascination includes 14k gold earrings, bracelets, rings, and necklaces. The Diamond Fascination Collection is available in the U.S. through department store and jewelry retailers, electronic retailers, and catalogs. It is also available in Japan, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Canada.
