It has returned to full production following a water-line break
Lab-grown diamond producer Scio Diamond reports that it has returned to full production after a water-line break damaged its diamond growers.
The December water-line break in its facility caused a significant interruption in its production, the company said. About three months later, all diamond growers have been repaired and are running at full production, and Scio expects to show significant increases in diamond growth in March and April.
“Our team, equipment suppliers, and insurance company have worked seamlessly and tirelessly together to bring us back to full production in a remarkable amount of time,” said Gerald McGuire, president and CEO, in a statement.
