Sally Morrison to Leave Diamond Producers Association

Michael Pace will serve as interim managing director of marketing

The Diamond Producers Association (DPA) has announced that Sally Morrison, managing director of marketing, will leave the organization in May “to pursue another professional opportunity,” according to a statement from the DPA.

Michael Pace has been named interim managing director of marketing. Pace spent 13 years at the World Gold Council and has also held positions with Diageo and Unilever.

He will begin this position at the end of March, reporting to Jean-Marc Lieberherr, chief executive of the DPA. David Lamb, former managing director for the World Gold Council, is also providing strategic marketing support to DPA.

“I am very grateful to Sally for her significant contribution to the marketing direction of the DPA and would like to wish her every success for the future,” said Lieberherr. “In Michael and David, we have two outstanding marketers, who will work with the board and me to achieve the goals we’ve set for the DPA. We look forward to sharing with the trade an update on our marketing plans at the upcoming JCK show.”

Morrison joined the organization in October 2015.
