She will head marketing and sales for the Americas
Gemfields has named Sally Morrison director of marketing and sales, Americas.
She was most recently the managing director of marketing at the Diamond Producers Association. Previously, she held senior roles with A Diamond Is Forever, Forevermark, Miramax Films, and the World Gold Council.
“I could not be more excited to be joining the Gemfields team,” said Morrison in a statement. “I have followed the company for a while and greatly admire the pioneering work they have done, both in championing color and sustainable sourcing. They have a vision and energy that I really wanted to be a part of, and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity.”
Gemfields CEO Ian Harebottle also issued a statement: “Sally will be a wonderful addition to the Gemfields family. Her role will be pivotal as we continue to expand and the U.S. announces several new marketing strategies.”
