“Making your mark” takes on new meaning with S.T. Dupont’s latest jewelry innovation—its Marker necklace is aimed at that creative thinker, maker, or artist who always needs a pen on hand.
The Marker necklace holds a mini Sharpie for any burst of inspiration that needs to be written or sketched. Priced at $495, the necklace features S.T. Dupont’s signature diamond-head guilloche and is available in gold, chrome, or matte black. It also has an engraved D, for Dupont, beneath its sheath.
In time for holiday gifting, S.T. Dupont also has expanded its line of Lighter necklaces. Previously offered only in gold or silver diamond-head guilloche, the necklace is now additionally available in black lacquer with gold or silver, for $495.
Functional and fun? That’s the whole purpose behind S.T. Dupont’s spins on these otherwise everyday items, says the accessories maison’s CEO Alain Crevet. Each Marker or Lighter necklace comes with a chain that can be adjusted to three different lengths.

“The idea was born from a longstanding S.T. Dupont conviction: An object of function can also be an object of style,” Crevet says. “The Lighter necklace emerged from this desire to transform one of our emblematic creations into a personal, expressive accessory.”
Both necklaces were inspired by streetwear and hip-hop culture, Crevet says. Call it French refinement through a contemporary lens—something that normally hides in your pocket is now proudly on display around your neck. The popularity of the Lighter necklace led to creation of the Marker.
“We wanted to explore the same dialogue between purpose and elegance by elevating a mini Sharpie—a tool beloved by creatives, thinkers, and artists—into a fashion accessory,” says Crevet.

Another iteration of this functional, stylish jewelry concept by S.T. Dupont is coming out in early 2026, although Crevet did not elaborate on it. But this fashion-forward mindset is in line with the brand’s focus on technical rigor, artisan excellence, and quality.
“Jewelry is a natural extension of S.T. Dupont. For more than 150 years, we have created personal objects—lighters, writing instruments, accessories—that accompany daily gestures and express identity,” Crevet says. “And since S.T. Dupont has been a goldsmith since 1872, working precious metals with exceptional mastery, these jewelry pieces are fully part of our DNA. A functional jewel simply continues this philosophy.”
Marker necklaces would make lovely gifts for the writers or artists in your life, he adds. Or maybe for the celebrity who needs a pen for anytime someone runs up for an autograph.
“They are beautiful, practical, and deeply personal. They are companions for those who create, write, sign, imagine. Freeing the pockets while adding a touch of audacity and French elegance,” Crevet says. “To offer a Lighter necklace or a Marker necklace is to offer a signature: a useful object that elevates the everyday, and a stylish statement for someone who gives so much of themselves.”
