Ruth Batson, CEO of the American Gem Society, has been appointed CEO of AGS Laboratories, in addition to her current role.
Batson has worked at AGS since 1993, rising to the ranks of CEO in 2002.
“Ruth has led the American Gem Society as CEO for the last 10 years, and has been passionate about AGS Lab’s role in the industry,” said David Gardner, president of the AGS board of directors, in a statement. “She now is empowered to act in the best interest of AGS Labs and its clients.”
