Royal Asscher Diamond Ring Auctions for $16,000 to Benefit Charities

On July 23, a Royal Asscher of America ring with 0.60 ct. t.w. diamonds sold for $16,000 at an auction to benefit the Global Equality Fund and the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

The auction, run by the Human Rights Campaign, also honored secretary of state Hillary Clinton and Elton John for their efforts to combat the AIDS epidemic.
