Rolex Supports Alzheimer’s Association Gala

The annual Alzheimer’s Association Rita Hayworth Gala, underwritten by Rolex Watch USA since 2003, celebrated its 25th anniversary in late October at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City.

The high-profile star-studded event raised over $2 million. Princess Yasmin Aga Khan, daughter of famed film actress Rita Hayworth who was stricken with Alzheimer’s in her 40s, established the gala in her mother’s honor. Since it began, it’s raised more than $50 million for Alzheimer’s Association care, support and research.

Allen Brill, Rolex Watch USA president and chief executive officer was a gala co-chair and presented the event’s Corporate Award to Frank Bennack, Jr. of Hearst Corp., a long-time supporter.
