The Retail Jewelers Organization presented Prakash Mehta, founder of Interings, its Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding dedication and commitment to the retail jewelry industry.
Mehta, a member of RJO since 1987, was honored at the 2013 RJO Buying Show in Covington, Ky., in July. The organization believes he is the first Indian manufacturer to receive such an award from a buying group.

“It is truly one of the best days of my life,” Mehta said about receiving the award in a statement.
