
The Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) has added two industry vets to its team.
Elyssa Jenkins-Pérez (left) has been appointed head of North American development. She previously served as director of membership and marketing at the Jewelers Vigilance Committee. She is also president of the New York Metro chapter of the Women’s Jewelry Association and a cofounder and vice president of the Black in Jewelry Coalition.
Effie Marinos has become a specialist adviser, technical standards, for the RJC. She recently formed her own company, Responsibility Resources, after spending 36 years with SCS Global Solutions.
