Richline Group CEO Dennis Ulrich has been named chairman of Jewelers for Children, the industry charity.
He replaces Ruth Batson, CEO of the American Gem Society and AGS Laboratories, who concludes a second, one-year term.
In addition, Signet’s Mark Light was elected vice president of charity programs, J.C. Penney’s Pamela Mortensen was elected vice president of fundraising, John White of Fossil was elected vice president of marketing and public relations, Debra Puzio of Star Luxe was elected vice president of special programs, Ulrich Wohn of TAG Heuer was elected secretary, and Alan Zimmer of Reeds Jewelers was elected treasurer.
Batson will continue as immediate past chair and will chair the nominating committee.
Seven new directors were elected to three-year terms: Katie Dominesey, JCK Events; Abhay Jhaveri, SDC Designs/M. Suresh; Karen Goracke, Borsheims; Jenny Luker, Platinum Guild International; Gregory Thumm, Bulova; Samuel Sandberg, A. Jaffe; and Michael Benavente, Scott Kay.
