Rembrandt Supports Breast Cancer Awareness

October is breast cancer awareness month and Rembrandt Charms, Buffalo, N.Y., is asking consumers to wear a pink ribbon charm to show their support for breast cancer awareness and research.

Rembrandt Charms will run its “Pink Ribbon” campaign during the month of October, promoting the sale of the pink ribbon charm through retail jewelers. Rembrandt will donate ten percent of the annual net proceeds from the sale of its Breast Cancer Awareness charm to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

“With the support of our jewelers, we are hoping to make this campaign an overwhelming success,” said Christopher Lux, founder of Rembrandt Charms.

Over the years, Rembrandt’s “Story of Your Life” contest has received thousands of entries, many of which are survivor stories written by those diagnosed or by friends and family members. The pink ribbon is a symbol for support, hope and survival, and holds special meaning in all of the stories.

Rembrandt will dedicate the homepage of its Web site to the campaign during the month of October. Online guests will be invited to share their survivor stories, making them eligible to win a sterling silver bracelet with up to ten sterling charms.
