Happy Fourth of July, everyone! For jewelers, as I have experienced, this summer holiday is pure heaven. Retail stores close, many for an entire week or more, and it’s time to dust off the old snorkel equipment, break out the suntan lotion, and go play. Independence Day is synonymous with summer barbecues, social gatherings, possibly a few too many cocktails, and memory-making to the max. Oh, and don’t forget the fireworks!
