Perhaps he learned a thing or two about jewelry from his Material Girl ex-wife (aka Madonna): Director Guy Ritchie picked a double halo-style diamond engagement ring for his expectant girlfriend, English model Jacqui Ainsley, when they announced their intent to wed last week. Made in platinum with “a five-carat, old European-cut diamond,” according to People.com by jeweler-to-the-stars Neil Lane, the style is indeed a classic—and highly sought after by many in the market for engagement rings. While their style has wide appeal, their budget is likely a world away from that of the everyday bride and groom. But thanks to ample variety from American manufacturers, a double halo ring isn’t out of reach for the rest of us.
