If you tuned in to the Emmy Awards last night, or read any subsequent posts about the fashions, you’re probably aware that the color red stole the night. I had predicted/wished for an influx of reds and pinks, but my hopes were geared toward jewelry, not necessarily dresses. Whether the splash of dramatic color came from gemstones or Givenchy, it’s clear that red is more than hot this season.
