Platinum Guild International (PGI) USA has appointed veteran industry marketing and public relations person Rebecca Moskal (pictured) as its new vice president of marketing.
Moskal will be responsible for establishing and implementing PGI USA’s marketing and communications strategies and initiatives, including those touting its new affordable luxury jewelry brand, Platinum Born.
Moskal, who has long worked as a consultant for PGI, has more than 20 years of jewelry marketing experience, having served in marketing and communications roles at famed jewelry houses Bulgari, Van Cleef & Arpels, David Yurman, and Beaudry. She established her own agency, Communiqué, in 2009. At Communiqué, Moskal and her team worked with notable clients such as JCK Events, Bedat & Co., Robert Procop, Alor, and Miseno.
A member of the Women’s Jewelry Association for many years, Moskal served as vice president of the Los Angeles chapter, as well as corporate secretary on the international board of directors.
In a statement, PGI USA president Jenny Luker called Moskal a “valuable addition” for PGI USA, which she says has “several new initiatives in development.”
