Raynald Aeschlimann Named President of Omega

He will succeed Stephen Urquhart on June 1

Raynald Aeschlimann will become the president of Omega, part of the Swatch Group, on June 1.

He has been vice president of sales at Omega since 2001 and a member of the Extended Group Management Board of the Swatch Group since 2013.

Aeschlimann will replace Stephen Urquhart, who will retire as president and a member of the Extended Group Management Board. Urquhart will “remain closely associated with the Swatch Group and will be available for special projects and consultancy assignments,” according to a statement from the company.
