Ray Stroup, Stuller executive VP of marketing, set to retire

Ray B. Stroup, Jr., executive vice president of the Stuller, Inc. Marketing Division for the past 13 years, will retire at the end of the year.

Stroup’s professional career includes more than 20 years of marketing experience, including stints in profit center management, sales, and planning. His expertise has been honed in consumer-packaged goods, electronics, and business consulting in addition to jewelry manufacturing and distribution.

Stroup holds an MBA in Management (with Honors) from the University of Texas at Austin, and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kansas.

“Ray has provided an exemplary level of executive leadership for Stuller’s marketing efforts during his tenure,” says Matthew Stuller, chairman and CEO. “His areas of responsibility are extensive, as Stuller’s Marketing Division includes Business Unit Management, New Product Development, Public Relations and Trade Shows, Marketing Support, and Pricing. Building on the company’s pioneering efforts in the use of full-color catalogs to market jewelry products to both retail jewelers and through them, to consumers, Ray has successfully moved Stuller into extensive direct mail, digital, and event-based marketing programs as well. Much of this effort has been directed not only to the trade, but also in building programs that retailers use to build consumer traffic.”
