This year’s Rapaport International Diamond Conference will take place on Thursday, Oct. 21 at the Times Center in New York.
The morning session, titled Diamond Demand, will analyze who will be buying what as the U.S. and global economies recover. It will focus on the trends that will define why consumers will buy jewelry. The morning session will conclude with a multimedia presentation by Roy Williams, chancellor of the Wizard Academy.
The afternoon session, Human Rights and the Diamond Industry – The Way Forward, will be presented by Dr. Michael Conroy, author and chairman of TransFair USA, and Dr. Peter Singer, an ethicist from Princeton University.
