QVC’s overall revenue increased 4 percent in the second quarter to $2 billion—the result of greater e-commerce sales, the company said.
Overall operating income increased 7 percent to $301 million.
“QVC’s performance was driven by another strong quarter of e-commerce and mobile purchasing, a trend that continues to accelerate across our global markets,” said QVC president-CEO Mike George in a statement.
As far as markets, the shopping channel’s second quarter U.S. revenue increased 4 percent to $1.3 billion in the second quarter. Its international revenue also increased 4 percent to $694 million.
