PrimeTime Shopping Network Files for Chapter 7

Share

PrimeTime Shopping Network, a Playa del Rey, Calif.–based company that livestreamed gem and jewelry auctions, filed for Chapter 7 in California federal court last week.

The bankruptcy petition listed $850,000 in liabilities and less than $50,000 in assets. PrimeTime’s revenue totaled only $13,500 last year.

On May 22, 2025, PrimeTime had posted on Instagram that it “is going on a temporary vacation” and added, “See you after Memorial Day!”

Two weeks later, owner and CEO Jack Jackels told followers to “stay tuned” for “your next jewelry shopping experience.” That was PrimeTime’s last post on Instagram.

Jackels didn’t respond to JCK’s request for comment by press time.
