President of Buxbaum Jewelry Advisors Resigns

Buxbaum Jewelry Advisors has named Scott Rusczyk managing director and Michael Lebowitz executive vice president following the resignation of Stevan Buxbaum, the company’s president.

Lebowitz brings more than 40 years of experience in jewelry retailing to his new role, having began his career in 1970 with Lebowitz and Co., a third-generation, family-owned jewelry store in Shrewsbury, Mass. Rusczyk also has a lengthy resume which includes consulting and law practice.

“We thank Stevan for his efforts in launching our Buxbaum Jewelry Advisors affiliate in 2008 and for his many years of service prior to that as a senior executive and widely quoted retail industry expert at Buxbaum Group,” Paul M. Buxbaum, chairman and CEO of Buxbaum Group, said in a statement.
