Jewelry brand Pomellato has planted its flag on one of the world’s most iconic shopping rows—Rodeo Drive.
The Milanese atelier has opened a luxuriously appointed flagship boutique within the walkable 2 Rodeo outdoor shopping center, which is located at the foot of the fabled street in Beverly Hills, Calif.
“Rodeo Drive is the iconic intersection of luxury and tourism on the West Coast,” Nathalie Diamantis, Pomellato’s CEO tells JCK. “This boutique allows Pomellato not only to increase its visibility in this key market, but more importantly to have a closer relationship with clients both local and global.”
The outpost also puts the high-end fine jewelry brand within easier reach of Hollywood’s stylists and celebrities; it’s fairly safe to assume we’ll be seeing more Pomellato on the red carpet in the near future.
“With a flagship in Beverly Hills, Pomellato will be working with stylists, celebrities, and the many friends of Pomellato in the entertainment world,” says Diamantis.
The boutique, which officially opened Aug. 22., was designed to spotlight mid-century Milanese style, says the CEO.
The boutique’s two-story façade features a bold sign in Pomellato’s signature lacquered Monte Napoleone redwood. The wood extends throughout the shop’s interiors, while walls are embellished with a texture of gold chains and oval lines, a combination repeated in the shop’s furnishings.
“Floating” glass cabinets filled with jewelry lend an airy vibe, and a short passageway leads to the lounge area, which showcases an exquisite and snaking gold-upholstered sofa created by Ico Parisi—meant to echo the gilded curves of the house’s acutely glamorous collections.
