A New York Diamond District jewelry heist on New Year’s Eve was allegedly an inside job, according to local news sources.
Dialite Imports on West 46th St. was robbed by "armed bandits" dressed as Hasidic Jews, who ran past security cameras to steal $4 million worth of merchandise. According to reports, police say the store was six months behind on rent and was more than $1 million in debt.
