Platinum Technical Training Road Show Begins in August

Platinum Technical Road Show seminars will go on the road again visiting five cities from August through October. The seminars are intended for bench jewelers of all skill levels to learn new and improved platinum bench techniques.
 
Hosted by platinum guru Jurgen Maerz, director of Technical Education for Platinum Guild International USA, this all-day seminar for bench jewelers provides hands-on training in areas such as advanced platinum stone setting as well as fabrication using the latest bench technology.
 
The advanced stone setting segment will train bench jewelers to expertly execute platinum pavé setting as well as the setting of fancy cut stones. Bench tips and unique tricks will be demonstrated using everyday household items such as baking soda or CD’s.
 
The 2007 Platinum Technical Road Show will be touring the country with stops in the following cities:

Minneapolis – Aug. 17
Cleveland – Sept. 7
Dallas – Sept. 21
Memphis, Tenn., – Oct. 5
San Diego – Oct. 19
