Platinum Guild International USA has debuted a $500,000 business development grant program to maintain industry interest in platinum.
The grant is open to United States–based designers, manufacturers, and retailers. To be eligible, applicants must have a knowledge of designing and manufacturing in platinum, and be willing to commit to either designing, manufacturing, or selling platinum products.
“Prior to the pandemic, the platinum-jewelry sector of the industry had grown consistently for the past seven years, increasing more than 60% since 2013,” said Kevin Reilly, PGI USA’s vice president, in a statement. “To continue this trajectory, we believe this newly established program will allow for continued growth, taking platinum-jewelry sales to never-before-seen levels.”
Interested applicants can apply here. Applications are due by April 30.
