Jacques is 15-year veteran of the watch industry and was most recently the CEO of De Bethune

Manufacture Contemporaine du Temps (MCT), the Swiss watch company, has appointed Pierre Jacques CEO.

Jacques (pictured right) is the cofounder of the watch magazine GMT. He has also served as the director of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève and was most recently the CEO of De Bethune. 

“Pierre Jacques’ arrival in our company corresponds to a new stage for MCT,” said Kristina-Ripsimé Ambartsumian, chairman of MCT. “His dynamic approach and his experience will make a valuable contribution to accelerating the development of our young brand.”

“I’ve always admired MCT creations,” Jacques said. “I am proud of being able to participate in the expansion of this magnificent firm.”

Jacques will start on Feb. 15. He replaces François Candolfi.
