U.S. Antique Shows has announced that it will expand the Pier Antique Show in New York.
With 80 percent of booths already sold, the company is adding 25 dealer booths to the November show.
“As we approach our second year hosting November’s Pier Antique Show, we’ve received valuable feedback from both dealers and attendees and plan to make some adjustments to this year’s show,” said Dan Darby, Emerald Expositions vice president and U.S. Antique Shows general manager, in a statement. “We’ve increased the number of dealers on the show floor by adding 25 new booths this year. This will diversify the categories available to attendees by providing them with more options than in previous years. We also plan to expand our Fashion Alley section including new dealers for 2014.”
The show will also host its second annual Appraisal Day on November 23. All attendees with a valid show ticket will have an opportunity to have an item appraised by one of three appraisers from Skinner Auctioneers.
