I was out and about a lot this week for lunches (with esteemed jewelry designers Kimberly McDonald and Kara Ross) and market appointments and couldn’t help but admire the jeweled timepieces in some of the windows of brand boutiques on Fifth Avenue. Piaget had geometric-inspired yellow gold styles, Bulgari had bulky but beautiful gem bezels, Van Cleef & Arpels had artfully rendered scenes on faces, and Harry Winston had feathers on some of his.
