Picture This: 25 Shots of Bergdorf Goodman’s Holiday 2012 Window Displays

If you’re in the city this holiday season, you must journey uptown to Fifth Avenue at 57th Street to take in the splendor of the holiday windows at Bergdorf Goodman. BG‘s window displays—supremely imaginative fantasy worlds dreamed up by some of the city’s most creative minds—seldom disappoint.

The theme for 2012 is “The Berdorf Goodman Follies,” inspired by “entertainments such as the Ziegfeld Follies, Vaudeville revues and Busby Berkeley’s Hollywood musicals of the 1930s,” the luxury retailer says on its blog. David Hoey, the store’s director of visual presentation, oversaw the construction of the displays with his talented team, and can be heard discussing the process in an audio tour on the blog.

The professional window shots on the BG blog were snapped by Ricky Zehavi, while the ones in this post were taken by yours truly. Enjoy.
