Tiffany & Co. has appointed Philippe Galtié to the position of senior vice president, international.
Galtié is a luxury-industry veteran. He was most recently the international retail director at Cartier. He spent 15 years with the company, holding senior positions in Japan, China, and the Asia Pacific. He has also held management and marketing positions with Moët Hennessy, Mars Inc., Eridania Beghin-Say, and the Nestlé Group.
“In addition to directing all of the sales channels for the [Europe, Middle East, and Africa] Greater China, Asia-Pacific, and Japan regions, Philippe also brings to Tiffany & Co. a seasoned understanding of the global retail landscape,” said Frédéric Cumenal, Tiffany & Co. CEO. “This knowledge will have a significant impact on the oversight and management of our store design and strategic-planning teams.”
