PGI to host red carpet jewelry suite for Golden Globes

Platinum Guild International will again be hosting its exclusive red carpet jewelry previews on Jan. 11 and 12 in Los Angeles to coincide with the Golden Globe Awards. PGI will be featuring more than 8 million dollars of platinum jewelry from more than 30 jewelry houses including, Erica Courtney, Hearts on Fire, House of Taylor, J.B. International, Jacob & Co., Neil Lane, Peter Norman & Co., Renaissance Platinum, Sheila Goldfinger, and Sol Rafael.

To date, PGI has lent platinum jewelry to some of Hollywood’s hottest stars, including Charlize Theron, Jennifer Aniston, and Jennifer Garner. The red carpet jewelry suites also generated 135 million impressions in print and broadcast media, and over three million dollars of ad value to the designers featured on channels such as CNN, E!, and Inside Edition. 
 
Items featured in the jewelry suite include platinum and diamond combinations such as a pair of platinum and 6-ct. emerald cut diamond earrings by J. B International and a platinum and 43-ct. rose cut diamond necklace, valued at $300,000, by Jacob & Co. New York based jeweler Raymond C. Yard has designed a platinum, moonstone, and ruby necklace by, valued at $55,000 for the event.  

The PGI jewelry suite will feature several Art Deco platinum pieces, including a platinum, 3-ct. diamond and onyx earrings and diamond, ruby or onyx stackable bracelets from Sheila Goldfinger; and the platinum and 28-ct. diamond “Riviera” necklace from Kothari and Company.  

Celebrities and stylists who at the suite showing can also indulge in spa services and leave with gift bags full of treats from Solstice Sunglass Boutique, Jurlique, HAI Elite, Aveeno, YMI Jeanswear, ALDO, Simon & Schuster, Rosebud Salve, Paint Shop Beverly Hills, RoC, Bodyography, Lissa Coffey, Kim Vo for B2V Salon, Clean & Clear, Funtion Urban Detox, HOBO International, Biatta Intimates, Grace Lazenby for iTRAIN, Ice Rocks, and Certified Nutritionist Majid Ali.

Celebrities will also have the opportunity to sign a pair of exclusive platinum jeans by Japanese designer Gekko, valued at $3,500, which will be auctioned off as part of the Clothes Off Our Back awards show charity Web site auction, and receive gifts of platinum jewelry from featured designers.
