PGI launches his and hers bridal Web sites

Platinum Guild International USA has launched two online resources designed to drive today’s discerning bridal consumers into the retail stores to purchase platinum jewelry.

“The Complete Engagement Guide” (www.engagementguide.com), a Web site that speaks directly to the man and a new “Platinum Bride” section dedicated to the woman, on PGI-USA’s consumer Web site (www.preciouplatinum.com), will be available online. Both sites, scheduled to launch in May, will serve to satisfy the distinct needs of the inquisitive male and female customer shopping for the perfect engagement or wedding ring,

The Complete Engagement Guide is an educational resource for men as they begin their search for an engagement ring. In 2003, an independent study conducted for PGI-USA revealed that men are searching for factual information about all the elements of the ring. It is geared to visually and informatively meet the male bridal consumer’s needs. Men can learn all about the anatomy of an engagement ring from the diamond to the setting, why platinum is a superior choice for a setting and wedding band, view popular platinum engagement ring styles, understand how to buy a ring in a retail store, and get tips for proposing.
