Platinum Guild International has named Nicholas Graham Smith regional director for the Japanese, U.S., and European markets.
Smith has extensive experience in jewelry marketing. He was a regional manager for De Beers; for the past five years, he also ran his own management consultancy where he worked across many divisions including luxury goods. In his new role, Smith will be responsible for PGI’s jewelry development programs throughout Japan, the United States, U.K., Germany, Italy, and France.
“Nicholas will add both broad international jewelry expertise and a depth of business knowledge to PGI’s Leadership team. He has a history of delivering strong results and we are very pleased to have him joining PGI,” CEO James Courage said in a statement.
