The Canadian Jewellers Association announced August 16 the appointment of Peter Norton as chairman of the board of directors for 2010-2011.

Norton is the owner and operator of Nortons Jewellers located in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.

Nortons Jewellers is the past winner of the Eastern Canadian retailer of the year (CGTA), Best Jewellery Store in Atlantic Canada (Atlantic Progress Magazine) and Eastern Canadian Jeweller of the Year (CJG).
